My dear friends at the beginning i must say that my essay could shock many people that many hapits and traditions that you in USA and Europe consider normal is not match with christianity . like divorce should only be for adultery only for adultery . relationships is not marriage but adultery . any marriage takes place at church and blessed by priest is a c

hristian marriage and only that kind of marriage is religiously legal & blessed by god .

what is the meaning of being christian

( what is the meanining of the word " christian " ) :

Christian is a person who adheres to Christianity, an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth as recorded in the Canonical gospels and the letters of the New Testament. "Christian" derives from the Koine Greek word Christ, a translation of the Biblical Hebrew term Messiah.

Central to the Christian faith is the gospel, the teaching that humans have hope for salvation through the message and work of Jesus, and particularly, his atoning death on the cross. Christians also believe Jesus is the Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible. why I wrote this essay :-

I wrote it out of my deep and sincere love to my brothers in Christ in USA and Europe . I saw that divorce devastating your families , destroying your children and subjects you to god's wrath. heretic people convincing people that homosexuality and divorce without the reason of adultery does not interfere with Christianity . some people undermine marriage and people used relationships as an alternative for marriage and thus they commit the sin of adultery . people do not care about their virginity and get involved in pre marriage relationship even be proud about it . I wrote this essay and many to follow because I do care about your eternity .

Introduction

At the beginning we must have a look over the prophecies of our fathers the apostles about the last days . to see how much it is fulfilled

Prediction of Apostasy

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. ( 1 timothy 4;1-3 )

The Character of Men in the Last Days

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, Ex. 7.11 so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

As we all see . the verses speaks for itself as if the apostolic father are living with us now a days . heretic people are getting from our Christian faith with our help we obey them to get our lusts . we do not care about honorable marriage but we care about relationships and divorcing to get another partners to satisfy our lustful desires .

Warning against Unchastity

My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

¶ But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

Nevertheless he that standeth steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

¶ The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

love is the back bone of every successful marriage . it is your only weapon you have to face the hardings of life . god is love ,those who deny love deny god .

Be Subject to One Another

¶ Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, Col. 3.18 • 1.1--0.1 ; 0.3 ; 0.1--0.1 as unto the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Husbands, love your wives, Col. 3.19 • 1 Pet. 3.7 even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The Behavior of Wives and Husbands

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; Eph. 5.22 • Col. 3.18 that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning, let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 1 Tim. 2.9

but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: Gen. 18.12 whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

¶ Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife,Eph. 5.25 • Col. 3.19 as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Social Duties of the New Life

¶ Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, Eph. 5.22 • 1 Pet. 3.1 as it is fit in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives, Eph. 5.25 • 1 Pet. 3.7 and be not bitter against them.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

bible considers those who do not care about their family unbelievers

I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. .

the main cause of marriage is breeding not to man die out

that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

At marriage husband and wife may see the image of the lord in the other partner . how would you like your partner to see the image of the lord in you .

Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Divorce in Christianity

As we will see the divorce at the old testament was not easy but as the lord said it was because of the cruelty of the people but at the age of grace we should be more tolerant and divorce is only for adultery

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,

and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;

and the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled; or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

and he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.

Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:

and the priest shall take a handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

¶ This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;

or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

As we see we may go to courts to get divorce but at the doomsday god will judge between the man and his wife and the mistaken will be punished

What is the good news :

God loves humankind we are his sons & daughters . he does not want to punish us but wants salvation for us that is why he offered himself as a sacrifice on the cross to give us life and another chance . so as long we are a life , we still have the chance to repent every sin we have committed no matter what it is . after death there is no repentance . no one can tell when he / she will die so let us repent now . repent all before it is too late .

who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
